This one might require a little bit of context
My plan for this month was to spend most of it focused on re-editing WARHOUND through RESCUE HOUND and getting them formatted appropriately for both e-book and physical releases. That's still the plan and it's under way, but earlier this week I woke up in the middle of the night and, in a strange state of mind, wrote a piece of flash fiction which (with the immense help of my friend Esme) I've edited into something readable. It uses elements from WARHOUND but doesn't directly fit in with any other parts of the story, and instead deals with some psychological elements that are a little close to home for me. It's quite rough and a bit personal, but I hope some of you will enjoy it all the same. Besides, it's not like it doesn't have mechs, a Handler, and a certain fixation on leather boots :)
Enjoy! And my thanks again to Esme. Content warning for derealization
