Well, this took altogether far too long - but the good news is that patience yields rewards! This story was written for the most recent $12 patron poll, with the winning prompt being "A CEO reveals to a corporate saboteur that her company has developed artificial halos - letting her turn them into her own personal angel". I think it's fair to say that this story evolved quite a bit from that initial idea - it's quite long, as you'll see - but I certainly do think that all its champions will be very, very satisfied. I'm really proud of some of the dialogue and strangeness in this one
All jokes aside, I am very grateful for everybody's patience. To be completely honest, while I'm over the moon with how it's been received, getting WARHOUND Volume One released was a bit of a nightmare, in terms of the learning curve and the difficulties involved. Trying (unwisely) to juggle all that along with writing has left me with quite a bit of a burnout, hence the recent, slow pace of things. The good news is that that's all in the rear view mirror now, and I can absolutely promise that you will get more than one story/chapter this month
