Hello, everyone!
This time, I'd like to give you a quick progress update on Shoost!
Layer Effect Presets
The preset feature I introduced in a previous post now works on layer effects as well!
Layer Rename
You can now rename layers. On top of that, the maximum number of layers has been increased from 10 to 50.
⚠ Important Notice
With the layer renaming feature comes a change in how layers are managed internally. Loading your existing save data in the new version will work just fine, but save data created in the new version will no longer be loadable in older versions of Shoost.
Snapshot Feature
This is a handy tool for quickly checking before and after comparisons.
Other Feature Expansions
A blur option has been added to the Drop Shadow effect, which many of you had been asking for! I also tweaked the internal parameters of Color Grading, along with various small bug fixes.
I've been thinking about adding more effects and hotkey controls as well, but including all of that would push the update back quite a bit, so I've decided to go ahead and ship this update as is for now. I've been testing things out alongside the scene creation project, and I feel like Shoost has gotten a lot easier to work with!
I'll be working through debugging all the new features and internal changes, and I'm aiming to get the update out this month. Stay tuned!
