For the few who do not know, many months ago I started an animated Incredible She Hulk project aka The Betty Piece. It was composed of my own drawn animated frames. It was far too taxing and time consuming causing me to drop the project altogether. Back in August, I was introduced to AI video generation. I ended up taking my hand drawn frames and style transferring them with the most recent AI models, then used an AI video generator to interpolate the hundreds of frames in-between. Cutting these and editing them together, I was able to complete what I thought would forever be a dead project, but in this different form altogether. Sadly, I have not found a viable AI video gen for animation. Using the same SFX and recorded audio, I completed this new video 40 hours later.
I am happy to say I delivered on this (sort of) and I thank everyone that stuck around even after months of radio silence from me. I am on the fence if I will continue to make content. It's amazing how fast AI tech has been improving and I am excited to see what I can create with these new tools. On the other hand I want to be sure I am not wasting my time and everyone enjoys this style.
