As the Bat Shit Crazy comic now is finished and posted I wanted to write a little update as I had promised.
Continued pause on billing - I will keep the pause on billing for a while longer. I don't know for exactly how long, but at least a month. So nobody has to cancel their subscriptions for financial reasons, etc. You won't be charged the upcoming month (at least).
As for the reason...
I will be starting treatment for my neurological condition as well as structural changes in my life as a way to tackle my autism and ADHD related difficulties. I've waited almost a whole year for this specific treatment which will help me in my day to day and not just an intensive rehab for my body. My neurological condition is a comorbidity to my AuDHD and other genetic condition. I had an initial meeting with my specialist and since I am practically allergic to stress they wanted me to scale back everything.
We talked about how I had been rearing to go and push further with my Patreon, but they reigned me in again and said it might not be the best at the moment. The financial aspect might be causing me a lot of stress and pressure (self inflicted) and worsen my executive dysfunction. They thought I might draw more if I just made it fun and not something that feels bigger. So I'm gonna try it out.
They wanted me to stop the financial aspect of my art and just try and have a hobby instead of work. I'm in a very fortunate position that I can recieve financial aid while going through treatment and as a daily aid for my AuDHD difficulties that make me not able to work full time.
What this means - It means that I will continue to make things. I don't really know what yet. Still transformation related. But I will not charge monthly for a while as I go through treatment. I will still post here on Patreon as a way for everyone to have access to my art. I will also post in the Discord as long as it is available. My socials and FA will also be updated, probably.
I think that I will draw a bunch of Love Shake related things, but maybe also some cat TFs and other stuff I've wanted to draw for a while. I don't really know where this will end and what drawing for me looks like entirely but I've had two weeks since my first session to think a little. I've only told my specialist that I paint so I won't talk to them about it in depth to figure it out lol. But I'm nervous and excited. Their job is to help me restructure things and manage my life better with different tools, and I said drawing was the most important to me and I wanted to possibly be able to maybe do it for work as I get healthier.
There were also a ton of other things happening the week of my first session (got sick, got called in as a witness to testify in court, my family spontaneously visiting, it was a LOT).
