Celebrating Mentorship in times of change & challenge
DESCRIPTION

Dear members & allies,

Last week we partnered with Keychange to host a week-long of content highlights & discussions that celebrated our 2020 virtual mentoring scheme, we.grow at Keychange

As part of our partnership, we hosted a deeply personal and inspiring live discussion filled with practical tips and lessons from a virtual mentoring relationship that unfolded with a pandemic backdrop. Plus general mentoring tips from a former she.grows mentee who leveraged her mentor to get the job that she wanted. And so much more.

Now available to members & allies only.

we.grow at Keychange is a bespoke virtual offshoot of our mentoring scheme she.grows, which has helped over 200 women from around the world as part of schemes launched in the UK, Portugal and Brazil to name a few. we.grow paired Keychange 2020 participants with each other and with participants from the first phase of Keychange who came on board as mentors.

we.grow aims to address a trend of growing concern in the music industry – women and gender minorities not showing the confidence they need in order to fulfill their career goals; and a lack of senior role models. This project seeks to explore some of the drivers of this trend and to equip participants to address any challenges they may face. A key part of this is ensuring that women and gender minorities from all backgrounds have the opportunity to meet, learn and be motivated by positive role models who are part of the same industry sector.

Watch this recording from our live discussion last week, featuring:

Chi Chi Nwakodo (Sony ATV, former she.grows mentee)

Kimmortal (Artist, we.grow at Keychange mentee)

anaiis (Artist, we.grow at Keychange mentee)

Moderated by Harriet Moss (shesaid.so Board Member, UK)
