It's time to pick a new comic for the Friday slot (for now, there will be a poll later for the Wednesday) since Meek to Myth is finishing up soon.
I know it can be hard to make a choice, but pick your favorite one. If it's a close vote there's a good chance that the story might return in a future poll. I really tried to provide a real variation of stories for everyone to choose from, from a mythical tale of vikings, to a superpowered girl, to a down to earth love story and an action filled sequel that will see many old characters return!
#1: Born Unbound:
At some point in time Katheryn found an amulet granting her enormous strength and nigh-invulnerability. Thankfully for the world she generally used this power for good and for herself, quickly becoming known for her kindness, power and invincibility.
Many years passed, and eventually, while wearing the amulet, she had a daughter named Aubrey. Aubrey inherited her mother’s power, but without requiring an amulet. Aubrey was an incredibly strong girl from birth, to the point where only her mother was capable of handling her, as long as she wore her amulet.
But as Aubrey grew up, she became a girl who had never known pain, who always got her way, unless her mother intervened. Who was invulnerable to anything humanity might throw at her. Katheryn put great effort into raising her daughter right, teaching her to be considerate and kind. To have a normal life despite her incredible power.
But what kind of girl does Aubrey become, when she has almost never known any consequence for her actions due to her massive power? Can she ever live a normal life? Does she want to live a normal life? Will Katheryn be able to teach her daughter how it is to be vulnerable?
That’s what we’ll explore in this story! A super strong, super tough girl who since birth has stood head and shoulders above the rest!
#2: Forged for Giants
Tired of war and the viking way Ulfar has put down his sword. Soon after he and Torhild, the love of his life, got married, and now live a rather peaceful life in a sea side village.
This peace is soon broken as a band of female vikings raid and plunder the village, abducting Torhild and leaving Ulfar wounded. Beset with grief and anguish he picks up his sword again to find the amazon vikings who took his wife.
But why did they really abduct her? And how can such a tribe of muscular viking women even exist? Soon he finds himself caught in a tale of myth and legend, where his wife plays a central role! And of course… she grows!
A story set in a mythical viking setting, with lots of very big viking woman and an action filled story where wife and husband are tested in many ways!
#3: Still The Girl Nextdoor
A sequel to The Girl Nextdoor.
Chelsea and Zach have been going steady for several months now, but Zach’s college is demanding more and more of his time as exams are approaching. Meanwhile, Chelsea is really settling in and find her own way in a (for her) new city.
During the summer holiday, they were able to spend days after days together. But this is becoming more and more difficult, and slowly they find out that their priorities and goals in life are quite different.
The first few glowing months of youthful exciting romance have passed, but will they be able to build a life together beyond that?
A story of romance and drama as we follow Chelsea and Zach through the next phase of their relationship, with all the strain and troubles that come with it! Also, Chelsea still works out a lot and grows bigger (that’s the kind of detail worth mentioning!).
#4: First Subject
A sequel to Alt Amazon & Defiant Growth.
Chloe (from Alt Amazon) and Norah, Liberty and Macy (from Defiant Growth) all tried to return to their lives after their respective adventures. But loose ends remain. Francis might be dead, but his boss is still out there, looking for a new way to create super soldiers, and having little care for who he hurts in the process.
At the end of Alt Amazon and Defiant Growth all of them were contacted by a woman named Elisabeth, who was the first ever experiment Francis attempted in his attempt to create a super soldier. She is after the one who is behind it all: Matthew Drachen.
In this story we see Elisabeth’s past and how Francis tried to turn her into a super soldier, before declaring her a failed project and moving on to other means. We also see the return of Chloe, Norah, Liberty and Macy, as they all join forces to take care of the person who has hurt them all so much! Drama, action, and obviously muscle growth!
