After an initial period of operational instability, the player queue and intelligent load rebalancing systems launched in March are now stable. We have opted to bundle the new Achievement System and Max Affinity rewards with the v0.8.96 update to mitigate risks to user data consistency prior to completing necessary backend bug fixes.
Closed beta 0.8.96 brings 26 sex scenes of Alet, Dr.Anya, Erika, Yanshi and Galatea, all investigator's wedding dresses and remastered Church of Starry Wisdom themed costumes, and a dozen of new outfit pieces that can be acquired via achivements and Nemed Flagship Store. Pity system is now more intuitive: instead of rate increase, an unowned Gold experiment will be generated with every 60 analyses. Its rarity is dependent on the highest rarity of unowned experiements included in this blueprint. The update is now in the final alpha testing phase and will be released on Steam in a few days.
Following the update, all legacy Church of Starry Wisdom themed outfits (those featuring the "Esoteric Rite" perk) will be retired from the shop. Players who currently own these outfits will be granted the remastered editions as a complimentary gift.
