I’ve been wracking my brain for a while now… with Cobra Kai ending, I figured instead of mourning it (which I do with my shows lmao) and being confused about the next direction we should take.. (not to mention with so many shows, to choose from - it's overwhelming to say the least 😅) I think I’ve finally come up with a solution.
EVERY creator knows, the YouTube algorithm is a total nightmare 🥲 As of right now we’re balancing two ongoing shows along with movies in between, and it’s important not to oversaturate the channel by jumping between too many series at once.
With THAT in mind - There are so many shows I’ve been wanting to continue/finish, but haven’t been able to due to editor availability, the algorithm, and overall channel balance(It's a pretty tough middle ground to find 😅).SOOOO here’s the plan:I’m going to start adding more shows to the roster! BUT they’ll be Patreon exclusives until a spot opens up for them on YouTube (ex: when a current show ends). I'll be on a strict schedule with several episodes a week, rather than the previous 1 per show! I wanna KNOCK THESE OUT 😇That Means moving forward:- You’ll get access to full seasons of shows we’ve been wanting to watch together -possibly MONTHS before they ever hit YouTube, if they even do at all!
-We’ll be able to get through more shows, faster - especially ones that only have a season or two left, rather than long-term commitment show like Cobra Kai or Game of ThronesI'm a bit on the fence for this one, it hasn't been decided for certain but I'd like to keep you in on the loop~ so let me know if this is something you guys would be interested in: - If a show does make it to YouTube, you’ll get the edited versions early on Patreon before they’re released publicly!🌸
The reason there is some hesitation with this one is because Patreon has a limited amount of hours they provide each creator. So if I run out of hours on Patreon, that would be a huge problem 😰This will remain included in the $5 Myko tier😊
With Cobra Kai coming to an end (as much as I wish it wasn’t 🥲) I really want to move forward with clearing out some of the shows that we've had on the backburner! Especially ones that have had new seasons release while we’ve been tied up with longer series ( I'm looking at you Andor, Daredevil, One Piece.... just to name a FEW)I think it'll be a lot of fun to share more experiences with you guys, to a wider array of universes/stories - and hopefully inspire some of you to watch something you wouldn't have checked out otherwise! (I love it when you guys tell me that, it makes me so happy🌸🤗)
I’m very excited about this and am currently deciding which shows to start with first (Loki, True Detective, Andor, Daredevil, Gen V, Invincible, etc.). There are SO many options.. So let's get into it 😊Drop those show recommendations down below, and let's get on it. :))
