Sometimes, all you want is a quiet afternoon. Some sun, a good book, and the soft crashing of waves to lull you into relaxation...

...until someone decides to try and get your attention.

Chloe groaned when they saw someone approaching their corner of the beach, their long tail already beginning to flick back and forth with annoyance. What could this intruder POSSIBLY want?

To "spread some 'lotion' on their curves," apparently.

The bothered feline just rolled their gold-rimmed eyes at the stranger's advance before returning to their book, but the prying eyes of this obnoxious intruder still made their ears pin back.

And now he's asking what I'm reading, Chloe thought, groaning internally. As if he'd even know.

They could hear the one-sided conversation of their onlooker growing more annoyed, this intruder clearly peeved that the massive mountain cat wasn't wanting to engage in a "decent" conversation.

With an exasperated groan, Chloe set down their book and glared daggers at the irritant, who stood confidently in the sand with an air of unearned confidence.

"...what?" Chloe growled, baring their golden fangs. "Can a cat catch some rays without getting bothered?"

The confidence only grew in the man's eyes, which scanned over Chloe's curves with a lecherous hunger that made their skin crawl. He made some snide remark, something along the lines of wanting to "bother their curves," but Chloe wasn't really paying attention.

They were too busy reaching out to grab their next soon-to-be snack~

The moron was too stunned by the sudden grab to really react before his head was engulfed, the shimmering gold of Chloe's fangs flashing as they bit down. His shoulders were already heading down their throat before his instincts kicked in, his pathetic struggling making the much larger cat's eyes roll once more.

Pathetic... if this guy can't even resist my throat, what made him think he was strong enough to handle the rest of me~?

The thought made them chuckle, a thick purr that resonated around the upper body of the annoyance as his legs passed over their lips. One final swallow, the soft clink of metal against bone as their jaws closed, and Chloe's annoyance was quelled.

Was he still squirming? Perhaps. If his struggles weren't enough to bother the big cat when he still had room to move, they certainly weren't a problem now that he was locked away beneath layers of fat and muscle. With a soft belch that twisted into a pleased grin, Chloe picked their book back up and resumed their relaxation.

At least I won't have to worry about lunch, they mused, licking their lips.

Nothing beat a relaxed, annoyance-free day at the beach~

I'm genuinely loving drawing this big cat, so I was pleasantly surprised to see them win the first Patron's Choice vote! We'll be seeing Chloe again soon, I'm sure, and goodness knows I'm excited to get them on a tarot card in the future ^^
