"The Devil" [Print Art Release]

That's right, I'm making more of these XD

When it came to matching OCs with the major arcana, few felt as obvious as Vesper being cast as the Devil. Not only are they one of my more "evil" / aggressive characters, but their heavy association with the color red & endless indulgence in basically every vice made V a pretty good candidate.

The Devil is also one of the few cards where an inverted drawing offers a better outcome than upright. When drawn normally, The Devil can signify a struggle with one's freedom, usually through some form of addiction or repeated vice that can feel like a burden on the soul. It can also signify a feeling of powerlessness, that you may feel a lack of freedom in your own life.

An inverted Devil, however, is far more hopeful. It can signify a breaking of your metaphorical shackles & taking power back over yourself, freeing your soul and growing as a person.
