Some actual art of Amethyst, my preysona!
I talked a little about it on BlueSky, but since I chose to not have Amethyst speak, she needed another way to communicate - which eventually turned into her using sign language when absolutely necessary.
Amy also wears a homemade set of bracelets that track her hand positions in relation to her choker, along with registering the nervous impulses from her fingers. This allows for the bracelets to effectively "read" and "translate" her signing into audible, mechanized speech.
While I don't speak sign language fluently, it's been fun to research different signs & find ways to incorporate it into my art.
That's an "average-sized" energy drink can beside her, by the way, of which she has three or four throughout an average day. She does what she can to sleep as little as possible, as her dreams tend to be a special kind of frightening, but the few snatches of peaceful sleep she has are absolute bliss <3
I hope you enjoyed! Thank you, truly, for your immense support~ <3
