After a long string of Sehad fanart, we have some from Annikath! They're a perspective study and some sketches, and since they feature TLS characters I figured people would enjoy them. ^-^
This week I worked on book stuff, but I also finished up and then posted the next $10 art preview. As I said to patrons there, we now have all the scenes finished to complete Chapter 4, so it's just a question of deciding when to jump through the hoops to upload. Next month will probably be most convenient for me.
If you haven't heard the news, Kickstarter has officially changed its policies in a way that seems to ban almost all NSFW. I was going to link an article, but eh, you can use your source of choice if you want more information. This should not retroactively affect DStP, but it could have an impact on my plans going forward.
Specifically, it pretty well kills my hope to try a major game via KS. =/ For example, one of the ways I had considered trying to fund OEA was via that sort of crowdfunding, which is now impossible on at least one site. I don't think that this means that it's impossible to use KS in the future, but it's certainly an obstacle to specific plans.
Honestly, if in the past you had asked me what direction I expected these things to go, I would have predicted wrongly. It does seem like we have a sustained trend against NSFW across multiple platforms and it's hard to be sure where it will end.
Though many Patreon things in the past have just been panics, I can't promise that Patreon won't make a sudden irrevocable decision without appeal. What I can say is that I've worked hard to diversify and so I as a creator won't go away even if one of my accounts does. Follow me via whatever platform you prefer and, if negative things come to pass, there will be news on other channels.
Of course, we can hope that things will go smoothly, as they have in past waves of bans and concerns. I'll just have to keep finding paths to navigate an environment that is pretty hostile in multiple ways. If you like what I create, I hope to keep delivering it for a long time to come. ^-^
