June 19 Update

First, please enjoy the new fanart of Qum, this time courtesy of lemondropsodapop! The core art of TLS is based on RPG Maker's style, which is anime, so it's fun to see her in a more cartoon style.

This week we had a couple of unusual posts, though one will become usual over the next while:

I posted the first TLS story, titled Robin's Last Day. I'm glad that people have responded so warmly to this. ^-^

For those of you who remember my beloved wuxia/epic fantasy, The Brightest Shadow, I recently put out a novella in the setting, Teeth in the Dark. This is a relatively self-contained story set after the third book, though it was written for fans and not designed as an entry point in the slightest.

That TLS story is the first of the six post-game stories that I'm going to call postludes. Without getting into great detail, here are both the titles and the schedule:

One More Cup of Tea

Some of these are pretty short, others are longer, one is stretching the definition of a short story. A couple are (sort of) sexy, but the majority are not. They are arranged roughly in chronological order, starting from decades after the end of the game and going much further than that.

I will be posting one every Wednesday... except for if the Wednesday is occupied by something like a TLS art post, which will be happening at least once. But otherwise, patrons on the $5 tier can look forward to more content for the next while! Though the concluding sequence of TLS is meant to be closing the book on that story, I hope that you will enjoy these postludes that offer different angles on the characters and world.

Lots of different things continue behind the scenes, but I think that's a long enough post for today. Hopefully some bigger announcements over the coming weeks, along with the content promised above!
