Hello all, I've gone through and done a lot of cleanup here in accordance with updated Community Guidelines. I want to be sure I'm following the rules of the platform, so I took it upon myself to do an audit of sorts of my own, to be as ahead of the curve as possible.
I won't beat around the bush: the platform has fully clarified their expectations for depictions of consent in roleplay scenarios, which necessitated some removals. I've made a broad spectrum of content but consent has always been very important to me and I've already discussed that at length in the context of my content warning and tagging system that I use on my work. I believe that it's the responsibility of anyone making that sort of content to give the contextual tags on it so people can make informed decisions about what they want to listen to or avoid. While warnings and tags of that nature were enough in the past, the platform now doesn't want content that in any way leaves sexual consent up in the air even contextualized as roleplay, which I can understand from their perspective. It's their platform and their rules, and I will abide by them, so removals have happened.
Where applicable, the Index with transcripts and audios over on the Redacted Audio site (which is available to the Devoted and Obsessed tiers) has been updated to include a section for Bonus Audios. None of this is meant to move anything behind a higher paywall as some kind of cash grab or something, and I have no intention of splitting any future bonus audios between the tiers- if you're at the S.O. tier, you'll get all the same future audios as Devoted and Obsessed. Logistically I just don't have many other options at this time from an archival perspective while keeping the current tier system in place. After five years mostly unchanged, maybe that system would benefit from some adjustments to that end, but I have to think more on that. In the meantime, I felt it was important to make these changes quickly. I'm not looking to operate outside of the rules.
