First I'll start that the chapter is coming today. I've finally gotten back into a more steady work flow and its coming along better than the last few weeks. Expect the chapter sometime in the next few hours.
Second, I thought I'd update you on the stuff I talked about last Wednesday(?)
My plan for building an automated database for the novels fell through.
We just don't have to tools current to get work as large as Alpha Strike context that an automated database can work with it in the way I want.
So I've been forced to spend the weekend doing it by hand. Once I'm finished, I can take them and run them into a storage database like Campfire, World Anvil or something else (anyone have any recommendations?) that I can then reference when I need.
This is still an ongoing project, and I'm at roughly Arc 2 of Book 1, though that's after spending days refining the process and making the chapter, act, arc and book templates.
From now on I expect to be able to get 2-3 arcs done a day, meaning I should have all of Alpha Strike contextualized by the end of the week. After that, I just need to do WLTK.
ROFL!
Its a process, and I've been pulling my hair out trying to make it work, but its finally coming along. I think I mostly wanted to post this update you prove to you, and maybe myself, that I'm not just kind of twiddling my thumbs and not working on the novels.
I can get distracted, overwhelmed, and sometimes struggle with writer's block, but I've been genuinely enjoying bringing you Alpha and Jeremiah's stories, and I greatly appreciate you all spending your time and money to join me in this as well!
