New Video Tomorrow + Some Stats

Good news everyone! The new video goes live tomorrow on Halloween at 19:00 UTC. The video is space-themed as mentioned previously. It just happened to be ready in time for Halloween.

Below are some technical details for anyone interested in that sort of thing.

The video was first rendered to PNG sequence at 1080p@60fps using Adobe Media Encoder. That HD sequence was then upscaled to 4K using Topaz Video. That 4K sequence was then compressed to an .mp4 file using FFMPEG.

The uncompressed 4K sequence ended up being so large this time around I had to buy an extra 16 TB of storage just to be able to render the whole thing.

The render times below are the cumulative totals of all renders and partial rerenders to fix mistakes and stuff. In an ideal scenario with zero issues, the video could probably have been rendered in about three days.
