Update 2 on the 0.2.8 WIP. Getting closer every day. Here are some side features, but I think very big ones.
Art
Okay, so you would think I'm busy with 0.2.8 features like the Masculine Route, which requires quite a lot of pictures and story rewriting, but I found the time to tackle a topic that has been annoying me since I started the game: a real character representation instead of a collection of icons.
Obviously this is way harder than with hand-crafted art (AI has to have its downsides as well :D).
But I came up with some really promising solutions. Nothing is final yet, everything is subject to change.
But here is the current progress:
New clothing combinations (potential new side view):
This is the big one that really never wanted to work out. For the nude views I already had videos before, the new ones just cover more states. But the really big change is the clothed paper-doll model.
New NUDE combinations:
- Chastity: yes / no
- Boobs: yes / no
- Fem level: 25 / 50 / 75
- Dirty: yes / no
- Hair: short / long
All combinations are covered. Only the dirty state is based on the base fem level, otherwise the number of combinations would explode even further.
Upcoming: Cloud Saves
I guess many of you read about my problem with persistent savegames and European data laws... I finally found what I think is an acceptable and law-compliant solution, so 0.2.8 will include the following feature:
Your saves will soon be able to follow you across devices: browser, Windows, and Android. No account, no e-mail: the game generates a sync code made of 6 simple words (like tiger-velvet-anchor-mango-frost-cabin), and that code is all you need to pull your progress onto another device. Your saves are encrypted on your device before upload, the server only ever sees scrambled data, so nobody (including me) can read what you've been up to. The whole thing is strictly opt-in: local saves keep working exactly as they do today if you never touch it.
Your code stays yours forever and covers all save slots; you can wipe your cloud saves with one click anytime, and anything untouched for 12 months deletes itself automatically. Free players get autosave sync + slot 1, patrons get all 7 slots.
So no more lost savegames :) thanks for reading <3
