HAPPY HALLOWEEN, folks! Have a Trick AND a Treat for you this year. A very spooky-coded romp featuring a dangerous and powerful witch and her spunky young apprentice in what's likely the most active animation we've made. While on the cartoony side, it still sports some of the best mouth/flesh animations I've personally been able to manage on my own.
So that's the treat, but now for the trick.... It's not done yet. I know, for those who don't read these descriptions and are wondering why the video stops right at the good part, I feel your pain. Even with starting two months in advance, these things still take a while. Even while we had ourselves on a schedule to get everything done by today, life happens. Everything between family weddings, multi-day power outages, and even needing to re-cast one of the roles, we ran into too many road bumps to get everything finished for Halloween.
Still, I hate leaving your trick-or-treat bags empty, so I hope this 2/3 taste of our still-in-progress work will be enough this year. The remainder should be finished in the next week or so, granted no other incidents happen.
