Something happened to me on Monday that fits the basic criteria for a brain aneurysm; I don't think that's what it was, because it was in the kind of circumstances (mostly the weather) that usually make my migraines worse, but I have never felt pain like that in my entire goddamn life. It felt like I got shot in each eye, but the bullets lodged in my skull before removing enough brain to kill me.
I might still be able to finish the Brian Wilson series this week; at the moment, I'm mostly baffled, trying to scan the general nightmare (Rulin and Amjad) about an hour at a time, because I don't know what the hell just happened, and I only have vague ideas as to why. There was awful migraine-type weather all day, but that, I don't know what the fuck that was.
(I don't care about debating gun control, with anyone, ever, nobody learns anything, nobody changes, and it wouldn't matter if they did – "Why do you have a gun?," asks Mr. Blake; answers Thel, "Because this is America" – but if I had a gun in this house, I would be dead, because I absolutely would've shot myself to make that pain stop. It wouldn't have been a choice, just a newly-acquired reflex.)
