So far I've just been hosting these polls over on Tumblr, since I wasn't sure if there would be enough engagement here to truly tip the scales one way or another. So call this a bit of an experiment.
The last couple of months I have struggled to get suggestions outta folks for these polls. It's made me reconsider how I approach the Drawing of the Month reward moving forward. I tried having a theme the last two months, but that didn't help with the suggestions coming in. So now, I think I might just leave the drawing up to my discretion each month, and leave it as a surprise.
I still want to be able to provide a Patreon-exclusive reward, and right now that's the only way I can see to keep on doing it. Honestly, chasing people down to give me some prompts took the fun out of it for me. So maybe a surprise is better. Or I just come up with the prompts myself and still do a poll? I dunno. We'll see how it goes come August.
For now, I just wanna see if there's a decent engagement here with the poll, because if so, then at least I can keep the poll format and just have Patreon-exclusive polls instead of putting them up on Tumblr.
