Good day all! What's been brewing? Titans!

As you might've already expected I've been busy with the next Titans build. I was still working on updating stuff for FET during the start of Feb ,planning to quickly release an update with some fixes and a much better Toph foot scene(because it really wasn't ready in the latest build), but I decided to save it for the next FET build instead. I got some really good feedback on both the latest and much older parts of FET(Thanks! You know who your are) and had to work on that while I still had the momentum for FET going on.... and immediately stopped doing that once I remembered February has 28 days. Somehow... I always manage to forget that.

Switching projects leaves me groping around in the dark for a few days trying to figure out what I was doing again, but putting in some quick&dirty work for FET left me in a much better mood to continue again on the new Titans build and mood counts for a lot with me!

Some of you might be sad to know your days as an alien gynecologist on Tamaran will be over in the upcoming build because yes the crew will be going home again, with or without Starfire! We might finally get to know whom Shady will pick to dance in his high class establishment and whether Chu-hui did some more unspeakable things while she was house sitting. I hate spoiling stuff for the game so don't expect me to tell you. As much as I like going off-planet, returning home to Jump city is the real joy.

Off-topic stuff. I already told you a wile ago I was looking for a HDD docking station to help me back up stuff and recover some older data. My first dock ate my hard disks. I have no idea whether it was just a shoddy version but I figured trying another brand/version was a better idea and I ended up with the one on the left.

Which works great! So now I can finally start and cataloging my stack of old hdd's. I already discovered one of them is broken but the others aren't showing any problems. Sure they're slower and louder and bulkier than a new ssd, buuuut also not unimportant...ssd's apparently can't be trusted with important data over longer periods of time. Not when you put them in a drawer for a bunch of years.

If you're doing that, better make certain you put some juice in it every now and then... unless you want to turn it into a zombie drive. It moves, but its insides are rotten.

Speaking of Zombies... and completely hamfisted transitions... I got myself a second hand vr headset a while ago. It's one of those old windows mixed reality headsets which got bricked because new windows versions weren't supporting it anymore but a recent fan project(oasis driver) available on steam got them working again. A year ago(?) I bought a meta quest 3, but I hated the fact it had to be recharged so often and the comfort was crap so I returned it.

One of the main reasons for me getting a headset is to play Saints and Sinners. It's a vr game in which you get to kill zombies. I haven't played it a lot yet because during January I was just not in the right frame of mind to play games and right now I'm just trying to get stuff done for Titans in this way too short month.I discovered (or rediscovered) i get nauseous while standing in vr, but as long as I'm sitting down my body doesn't give a damn! The little I have played so far has taught my I'm a "panic stabber". So far I've managed to not slam my hand against a wall or screen though that may change. In general it's a fun experience, but I also discovered I don't like being completely cut off from the outside world so I'm not expecting it to become a big thing for me even if they'll create much better/smaller headsets over time... if there's an avatar game for it with Katara/Toph/Azula etc in it... all bets are off and I WILL become addicted.

You'll find some minor/bigger alternatives to the drawing above in the attached zip file! That's all for now. Talk to you later!Cheers, Marty
