Lorelai has never been alone on her journey, mostly because Ian makes sure of it. Growing up with her meant learning to think for two from a very young age, usually because she refuses to. Where Lorelai charges in with a smile and a sword, Ian prefers to use his brain and his words to fix problems before they turn into disasters.
Not that it always works. Keeping Lorelai safe is a full-time job, even if thatβs easier said than done, especially when Lorelai sets her mind on something. Still, the road ahead is long but Ian would walk it a thousand times over if it meant saving the only family he has left.
