So I'm now ready to post this. I'd love to hear what you guys think. I'm trying to make a kind of quickie video this month, and this was my idea. I'd love to hear thoughts from everyone, specifically the two most important demographics: people who are BU/Watcher fans and people who have never seen their stuff. The video will go into a lot of takes about true crime culture and a few cases, so I think it's compelling either way. And of course I'm building up to the Watcher couch stuff.
The script isn't done, but the chunk from the first BU episode to about the middle of the video is mostly there. It's enough that I'll be trying to film tonight for sure. Again, I'd love to hear your takes.
Part of me thinks this will be a misstep because it's another non-"Nickelodeon deep dive" video, but another part of me thinks that at the very least I'll get some new people in the fanbase from this one. I'm not expecting it to get a billion views or anything, as long as it maybe matches or outpaces the Grumpy Cat video it is what it is. But if anyone thinks this is a terrible idea be sure to chew me out!
