NASA's Asteroid Data to MIDI (SOMA’s Pulsar 23) v1.3 - [TouchDesigner + Ableton Live Project Files]

Through the use of NASA’s APIs and TouchDesigner, I’ve once again captured near-earth space object [asteroids and fireballs] data in real-time, and used it to trigger MIDI [out] signals in Ableton Live. Said signals are then feeding my beautiful Pulsar-23 through MIDI [in].

To give it a little more musicality to the experiment, I decided to iterate through the data of the last seven objects that passed close to Earth between the selected dates.

Data goes as follows:

total-radiated-energy → Bass notes + LRN1 HHT

impact-energy → BD Trig

latitude → Bass Shape

longitude → Bass Warp

velocity → SD Trig
