This class module contains rules for a new 5E class, the "Tentacle Speaker," including new subclasses, new NPCs, new traps, and new rules. 13 pages long, it contains all the tools necessary for you to add the intriguing curiosity of otherworldly tendrils to your table.
Tentacle Speakers learn to guide their otherworldly allies through holes they open in the veil between the worlds. As they grow in power they learn to allow more of their allies through these rents--calling forth protrusions they can guide to strike their enemies or embrace their allies.
Tentacles, once summoned, act at the Tentacle Speaker's behest. They are powerful extensions of the Speaker's hands, capable of delivering crushing blows to hapless foes. As their summoner grows in strength, these tendrils become able to coil about their targets to stop them in their tracks--and deliver a crushing squeeze.
There are many kinds of beasts from beyond. A Tentacle Speaker's ally gradually shows their true nature: do the undersides of the tentacles sport grasping suckers? Are they woven vines of jungle matter? Or are they something softer, more pliant and intrusive? Each Tentacle Speaker is different, and their ally is just as unique.
Of course, these holes in the veil don't just close... some are left wide open, waiting for a hapless adventurer to wander by and be grabbed up by curious--or intrusive--tentacles! Every good dungeon deserves one or two of these mishaps waiting to happen.
Featuring specially commissioned art, this class module also includes Tentacle Speaker NPCs to add to your game world! Everything to put the power of the tentacles in your hands.
