Here's Miguel's compositions for this month. He wrote his inspirations and ideas for each track.
“Your Nemesis’ Arrival”
The sudden appearance of your arch nemesis makes your hairs at the back of your neck as your gut urges you to fight or flee. This track emulates the long tension and evil your enemy has over you and your party. Whether you fight them now or escape for a better advantage is your choice.
“Ancient Steps of the Northmarch”
The land of Jarls and Valkyries beckon you as this melody of icy strings and windy voices plays along your journey to the Northmarch. These trails are old and the tales from these lands are older. This piece helps with journeying through these old heroic lands.
“The Abandoned Colony”
Your mission brought you here, but the only signs of life are that of yours and your team. The buildings are abandoned and the streets are too quiet. How could a whole colony vanish? The answers hold a darker truth than anyone could’ve realized. This piece was initially for a Sci-Fi ambience but it can easily be used in a fantasy setting as well.
“The Blooming Culpus”
This Track is a commissioned for the monthly raffle and invokes the natural beauty and mystery of this world. Players would take time picking the flowers and exploring vast beautiful vistas with this piece. Based on the lore shared by the raffle winner
The initial lore :
On the world of Ehis there are powerful magical plants known as the Culpus Flowers. They are incredibly rare, and each one has its own unique effect. Even one petal from a Culpus Flower is able to grant incredible power. Of all the Culpus Flowers, there are six that are known to be the most powerful, and the wars for possession of them have shaped the societies of the world into what they are today. The current locations of those six flowers themselves are unknown, but the petals plucked from them change hands between kings, noble houses, and notorious thieves frequently. Adventurers spend their lives searching for new blooms, perhaps the next flower that will shape the world has yet to be discovered."
