Sorry for the very long silence, a synergy of various adverse factors in my everyday life. Mostly the fact that my part-time survival job got upgraded to full time job and they also asked me to use my proficiency with graphical software to make promotional material, so more free time that went there.
And last but not least, videogame binging fueled by my lack of energy and motivation to draw at the end of a long work day.
Mostly to two games: Hades 2 and Street Fighter 6 World Tour.
The first a great game thorough. It took forever to end it mostly because I kept adding maluses in order to grind special resources and I wasn't exactly in the mindset that let me play games healthily.
The second, SF6, well, I've opinions. Good first act, great second, the third deflagrates in the freak accident of different creative directions at odds. Is this game a RPG? A long-winded tutorial? Wants it to be silly? Dramatic and poignant? Who knows!
But I'm grateful. The ending was so bad and frustrating that my outrage snapped me out of my addiction. And now I feel like dedicating the remaining free time I have to make the thing that makes me happy instead of the one that gives e just a short-lived dopamine rush.
I needed to take baby steps, and there they are, various poses of my Street Fighter 6 character, with some creative adjustments like a harness that you won't find in the game and long pants with bulge you won't either.
I mean, I don't want huge packages nor jiggle physics, I just don't want his groin to look flatter than a Ken doll's. It's distracting.
But thanks to the power of art I can make an anatomically correct version of him, huge pecs and shoulders included, and that's te great part about art.
I have to keep it in mind.
