DESCRIPTION
This series translates as 'goddess of the sun' in Japanese. The majestic crown was made by Viola Claeys, a friend of mine who often makes costumes for burlesque dancers. I absolutely fell in love with this headpiece and bought it to feel powerful. That's exactly what the photographer made me feel like. Eventually his chicken joined in (because I can't hold our chickens at home, and really wanted to hold one), so we incorporated it in the shoot. Overall a very fun experience! Almost godlike.
