This Fluffy Love is my fifth English Webcomic. However, due to my amateur-level artwork and storytelling, my previous works were met with a lot of negativity, especially when I posted them outside of Indie-friendly platforms. (Yikes)
So, I was scared to start this comic, even though I had done a successful Sinhala-language comic a few months ago. Would this suck? Would people hate it??
But no! It got so much love!!
Since I was one of the very few comic artists to ever get anywhere in Sri Lanka, I always had to answer this question: “How do I make money off of my comic?”
I had no answer because I wasn’t making money either. I was broke as hell too XD
But it changed with This Fluffy Love! This is the first time I was able to make money from my comics!
I was finally able to tell my juniors what to do, and I hope they learn something.
After a few personal expenses, I decided to donate some of the money I made to a very worthy cause: LGBTIQ+ rights of Sri Lanka!
I wanted you to know because you made this happen :)
