This has been a long time coming. I love this game so much, and with every new little slow-burn short I wrote for Terry, I felt like the main game needed a rewrite just so everything new can fit better.
Now I understand the characters better, and I'm kind of getting used to planning stuff instead of adding stuff on a whim. I'm a pantser, not a plotter. 😅
Anyway... I want Terry to be a certified slow-burn, and I couldn't properly do it with the way the main game was set up. I want Arden to be less childish, I want more jealousy scenes, and more charming moments with Da Silva. I also want a proper reason why Terry is second chair on the case, so I'm adding a bit of emotional damage for them, which will explain why they switch from being a criminal defense lawyer to transactional. You know, just character development. lol.
And I also want MC to be a homewrecker if that is something you so wish for your MC.
What am I changing?
Some aspect of the story, like making the side cases more interesting and less comical. All ROs will stay. But I've changed Holloway from RO to hookup. Holloway is the client accused of the murder. I've added a new RO that you can customize, and I'm so proud of myself for finally writing an ex for MC where there is no toxicity, and you guys can just be friends. 😄 Look at me maturing.
Since it's a bit of a rewrite, it will be short, just prologue and chapter one, but there will be a good chunk of content to give you a good idea of the new vibe.
