APRIL 2025 UPDATE WAHOOOOOO
Yo yo yo! Hoping all is well with my fishing freaks around da world on this fine Wednesday. I just wanted to drop in and let you guys know I'm going to have two big vids for you this coming month. One will be the completed Rango video (which ended up becoming even more time consuming than the Lupin the Third one lmfao I am so sorry) and the other will be a Patreon exclusive just for you gamers where I go through and rank/review all 160 films I watched in working on this video. Yes you read that right - 160. I am trapped in an eternal battle with scope creep and losing terribly. :b I've been wanting to revamp the Patron perks for a long time so you all get more in return for your kind support and the biggest new addition, on top of your current perks which will remain the same of course, will be exclusive videos like this one that are sorta supplementary to the main channel uploads where I either chop it up about things that got left out, talk about the movies/shows/general research for them, or just yap about the topic even more than I already have! Think of it as sort of a Patron Podcast but with chill vibes and aura. I've wanted to do something like this for a while and I think the Rango pod/tier list/multi-hour vibe marathon will be a super fun one to start with just due to the sheer scale and absurdity of it. I also want to apologize for the huge delay on this project and for my sorta radio silence the last handful of months. The past year has been a weird string of familial health issues and losing family members and pets and it left my focus divided in a way that made it difficult to balance everything for a bit. (Mom suffered an aneurysm, Grandma died, two of our dogs died, etc.) Since I have the kind of gooey goblin brain that recoils inward with gunk like that, I default to keeping to myself and working on stuff until I have something finished and new to show when I pop back out. However that's no one's prob but my own and I owe my producers (you guys) more consistent communication! That said from now on I'll be doing monthly update posts to keep you guys informed and also just to check in with the gamers more often. Also with a new year of course comes new swag and attached to this post is the first look at the finished new intro! I posted a much rougher/earlier concept of this with a different song in the Discord a while back but this will be the one featured in the new vid! I'm incredibly grateful for and humbled by the continued support I've been given by all of you and I'm looking forward to finally releasing this one. Let me know what y'all think about the new intro below btw! I wanted it to feel like an Adult Swim bumper but with my own spin on it - like the start of a fictional late night programming block you'd see in space. Anyways, sending love and see you guys soon!
