Hey everyone! I'm finally writing that quick Progress Report I promised!
Thanks for your patience on the delay of this one—I've been busy working on the next season of Um, Actually, and I just had a chance to sit down and write this up.
WHAT HAVE I BEEN WORKING ON?
Mostly Um, Actually! I'm extremely excited about this next season. We've been putting a lot of work into it, and it's been nice to have a specific project to work on during this Patreon pause. It's still easier for me to make creative work for other people instead of for myself right now, so working with a lovely team of other creatives has been refreshing.
HOW'S THE PAUSE GOING?
It's going pretty well! I've sat down a few times to work on my personal stuff, and though I haven't quite cracked the "how to make work sustainably" issue, the lack of self-imposed pressure has made it a little easier.
I have finished up one video, but I haven't done the BTS edit on it, so I've been postponing the Patreon upload. As it stands, I'd love to work on my bee-related video after Um, Actually has wrapped so I can get it up on the Patreon this month and up on YouTube in September.
ANYTHING ELSE?
Not really! Which is exactly what I was hoping for during this pause.
