I've had this video ready for the past month, but I've been sitting on it for a while.
The main reason is because I haven't decided when I want to post it on my channel yet (or if I'm going to at all). It's still a silly song, and the vast majority is a joke, but by the end, it's also one of the more honest and vulnerable ones. Even "i wish that i could wear hats" had a few more layers of irony and metaphor built in to make it feel safer, but this one's far more straightforward. Then again, that's the whole point of the song, eh?
I think I'll still post it someday, mostly because Jonah's instrumentals and arrangement are exactly the kind of country I was going for. He's a genius. But I'll probably try to post a few more videos before then, just to ease myself into it. So expect a couple other videos to show up on the Patreon before this one goes out to the general public!
