Lightning had no way of knowing that the book he'd been given upon leaving Wizard Kade's tower was home to Melo, who had been resting in the pages as ink, just waiting for someone cute to turn the pages. Courtesy of the brand's wiley whims, poor Lightning's rear paid a delicious price for disturbing Melo's slumber. Perhaps it was a bit messy - but hey, it wasn't unpleasant.... (He may have kept the book.)
