Dear legions, As of today the exclusive Patreon merchandise item has been retired and a new one is in the works for you! 🤗In mid-February we posted about us doing price changes for the very first time in the history of our Patreon (it's been running since aug. 2019!), and we'd like for you to click HERE and read it. Not all tiers will have price changes, and it will not be a lot - but it is unfortunately needed. The feedback from you in February was supportive and kind, which we are very grateful for - thank you! 🙏So please read it, and here comes an update as well with the new prices and what tiers that will not be touched! Why it is happening now, when it was announced in mid-February, is because you can't do the price changes when a Patreon exclusive merchandise is running. It has to be retired first, then it's possible to update the prices! The price changes that will take place: All numbers are stated in USD$• Black Marble: 4$ Previously 3$• Tier Onyx: 6$Previously 5$• Emerald: 12,50 Previously 10$• Blue Emerald: 28Previously 25$• Ruby: 55Previously 50$Higher tiers remains untouched.You may wonder when the new prices will start for you, let us copy and paste from the post we linked so it is clear 🤗1. You will get automatically notified that the price of your tier has changed. The notification includes details about when the new price will take effect. All renewals for the next 31 days will be at the old price, so existing members aren’t charged the new price right away. Your members will receive an email letting them know their tier price is changing after 31 days and that their next bill will reflect the new price.For example; If we would change your tier price on September 3 and your membership renewal is on September 5, you will still pay the old price on September 5, as it falls within the 31-day Price Lock Period. Your next renewal on October 5 will reflect the updated price. For annual memberships? For example; If we change our tier price on September 3 and your annual membership renewal date is October 1, your renewal will remain at the old price because it falls within the 31-day Price Lock Period
If your annual membership renewal date is not within 31 days of when we change the tier price, the new price will be in effect when they renew.2. Have you been around our Patreon for a long time even before the billing model changed? If you are charged every 1st of every month, please switch your subscription to Subscription Billing instead to enable price changes 🙏3. Members who join through iOS in-app purchases will remain at their original price, as Apple doesn’t allow Patreon’s pricing tool to adjust these payments. But we highly recommend you cancel the patreon in the iOS app, and join via a browser instead.
