Just a quick note to let you know I’m back and actively working through some user-reported issues and enhancement requests.
I’ve (perhaps foolishly 😅) created a couple of forum-style channels on the Discord. One for bug reports and another for feature requests. This should help keep things a bit more organized, since general chat can get a bit hectic at times.👉 Join the Discord here
If you’ve previously suggested an enhancement, chances are it’s already on my “to-look-at” list, but feel free to open a new post in the forum if you want to be sure it’s tracked.
Since returning, you might’ve noticed a small update: a Home icon has been added to the top of the UI. This lets you either:
Auto-plot a route to your assigned home system
Or open the System Commands panel for that system
This feature was requested quite a while ago. Previously it was possible via voice command, but not through the UI.
Another update currently in Beta is for ExoBiology:If you're hunting for a previously recorded sample, you will be able to click the guidance button next to its entry in the Biologicals panel. This will guide you to the closest known location that you haven't already scanned, instead of always pointing to a single (possibly already completed) entry. Super handy when multiple locations are listed via Canonn. This should roll out to everyone in the next few days.
