Here we go again! Lots going on this week, so let's crack on! The weekly editorial meeting kicked off as usual yesterday and all able team members were present to discuss their ideas for the week ahead. Here's a person-by-person breakdown!
Rich (ie me) is just editing up the Radeon RX 9070 GRE review. Yes, an actual new graphics card! If you don't count the fact it's been out in China for ages! After that, embargoed content plus maybe a day's work helping out John on something special for his next major project.
John is kicking off work on the next major DF Retro episode. It's been 11 years since the launch of Batman Arkham Knight and we'll be going back to the original game to describe what made it special, why it holds up so well today and... well, yes, we will try to get to the bottom of the whole PC debacle!
Oliver has just handed in the latest episode of the DF Direct Q+A show which will be heading to supporters first soon (basically as soon as I've done the admin, hopefully later today). After that, 007 First Light Xbox. Oh, and we may well be doing a DF Direct Special on Sony's big showcase.
Tom has just delivered the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Switch 2/Xbox review video, which should be going live today. He's currently on a developer visit for some embargoed content. More on that soon!
Will is taking on dual roles at the moment - while most of his time is dedicated to digitalfoundry.net, he's returning to the "merch" side of things. We'll have a nice new product to launch soon - and perhaps a sale for clearing existing inventory as we prepare to do a bunch of new stuff there.
Alex remains on a leave of absence, focusing on recovery. Myself and Rayan will step in to sort out the 007 First Light PC performance review and optimised settings.
As it's approaching the summer events series, we'll be evaluating all the major shows and producing custom #content if the occasion suits it. There's also a couple of press events with capture opportunities in the immediate future we'll possibly be attending. So, lots going on but a bunch of stuff we can't talk much about!
As usual though, please feel free to comment, ask questions, suggest new things for us to look at! For now though, have a great week!
