Hi everyone, Rich here and it's Thursday which means it's time - once again - for the "call to questions" for the next edition of DF Direct Weekly. And... I'm not going to be in it for once. I'm taking the week off from Directing, and it'll be John, Tom and Oliver at their respective microphones. So what's on the docket?
Unreal Engine 5.8 and all of the reveletions from Unreal Fest will be discussed as lead story in addition to reaction to the Gears of War: E-Day tech demo. That's chunky enough - but there'll be more: concern at the generative AI elements in Unreal Engine 6, the $3000 SSD upgrade for PlayStation 5, and John's experiences with the astonishing Pimax Dream Air VR headset.
It seems like the Xbox drama seems to continue unabated so if there's anything new to report there, the panel will be on it. Chances are there'll be another revision of topics so do feel free to suggest your own, comment on the above and pose questions to the team!
