Update: Just a quick "bump" to remind you all that we'll be taping the new DF Direct Q+A Show tomorrow. Plenty of Steam Machine pricing questions I see, but I think we've got that all covered off in the last Q+A show - please feel free to pose your questions on anything and everything else. And we're happy to take your questions in the wake of the GTA 6 asset dump! Meanwhile, I'm chuckling at the 31c temperatures logged in the initial post - it peaked at 36c on Friday. Thankfully today, we're back to the mid-20s!
Original post: Hi there - just a quick call for questions this time as I'm quite eager to leave the 31c dry heat in my office! Looks like tomorrow is going to be even worse before things start to improve over the weekend and normality resumes on Monday. That being the case, we're taping DF Direct Weekly #270 a little earlier tomorrow so the deadline is also earlier: 7am BST. It's Rich, Oliver and Tom at their respective microphones for this one! Deadline for Q+A Show remains the same as usual: 8am BST Monday.
What's on the docket? Well, we'll be covering off the various GTA 6 disclosures, we'll be talking about the screenshots and assets released and we'll be discussing the price point. Does it really "play best" on PlayStation? Maybe we've got some thoughts on that.
We'll also be discussing the surprise "drop" of FSR 4.1 on RDNA 3, but if you stick around to the end of the upcoming Q+A Show, you'll see Steam Machine running it on Cyberpunk 2077. 1620p output, dynamic FSR 4 resolution, almost a locked 60, PS5 performance mode settings.
Other stuff? Tom is looking at the Switch 2 version of Sonic Frontiers, and may well talk about Valve's release of a more general version of SteamOS so people can build their own Steam Machines.
