We are home from the hospital now. Bleeding seems to have stabilized and the doctors are hopeful for a full recovery, but suffice it to say that writing is not a priority for the next few days.
In better news, I got the rest of book two rough drafted during Spouse's paternity leave, and also got a decent start on outlining book three. Pre-ordered books have also started shipping, though I probably won't get the rest out until next week, for obvious reasons. Also I saw a picture of a sunbittern the other day and that is absolutely going to influence the dragon design in book one.
