Hi everyone!I have a few important updates to share about my upcoming schedule and billing.
🔧 What’s coming next
April 12 (Sat): Final pages of Chapter 8 will be posted
Late April: Cover illustration for Chapter 8 will be uploaded
May & June: I’ll be taking a break from posting to focus on preparing Chapter 9
Tasks planned: translating the original script, building the full plot, rough sketches for all pages, and completing the first part
April 30 (JST): I’ll pause Patreon billing
No charges for May and June (for existing members)
Billing will resume automatically around June 30
Mid-July (2nd Saturday): Target date for the first post of Chapter 9
⚠️ If things don’t go as planned and Chapter 9 isn’t ready by late June, I may extend the billing pause into July. In that case, I may share some light content in July — such as rough sketches or time-lapse videos of past drawings. More details will be posted at the end of June.
💡 Notes about the billing pause
All content on Patreon will remain available to view even while billing is paused.
Your billing date will not change after the pause ends.
If someone joins during the pause period, they’ll only be charged once upon signing up, and won’t be billed again until the subscription resumes. They'll have normal access just like everyone else.
Since I’ll be pausing on April 30 (JST), this might be a bit earlier than April 30 in US time zones.→ For those who are usually billed on the last day of the month, this may result in no charge for April. It might feel a little unbalanced in the short term, but over time the billing should even out fairly.

This will be my first time pausing billing since switching to a subscription model, so I’m feeling a bit nervous...!But I’m also excited to dive into the work and bring you the best possible Chapter 9 when it’s ready.
