EDIT: OKAY so. it seems what happens with postybirb is one of three things

post goes through fine

post goes through as a media post, but with no image attached. but i can reattach the image (what happened here!)

post goes through as a text post, with no image attached. because it's a text post, i can't reattach the image and have to remake the post

so.... yeah :') right now with so many old comms i want to post, postybirb is the only way i can feasibly bulk upload stuff to post here (and to my substar which i've been bulking up before officially advertising it) but maybe one day i'll be caught up to where i can manually post stuff again heh. or if postybirb ever fixes this lol :')
