Hello everyone! It's time for us to announce a brand new series for the channel and we're once again stealing from the TV scene. First was Mythbusters and next we're going after Taskmaster and we want you Patreons to be the participants!
If you don't know what Taskmaster is, it's a comedy panel game show focused around celebrities/comedians being pitted against each other to conquer bizarre tasks and we want to translate that idea into Battlefield 6 (and eventually expand it to other games). With the use of Portal, I'll be creating 5 wacky challenges for you to take on. This will obviously all be recorded and eventually all 5 Patreons will come together at a later date to witness how all 5 participants did, react, laugh, and a winner will ultimately be crowned.
Entry into this series will not be randomized like the Zombies series because we will be relying heavily on your footage for the video to work. In Zombies, Joe and I can exclusively be the cameramen, record your Discord audio, and the video is good to go. But with Taskmaster, we need the participants to be able to record their perspective in the quality our audience is used to and expects from our channel. That mean's that we will be manually selecting who participates in these recordings.
Requirements:
A solid microphone.
Recording capabilities at a minimum of 1080p/60fps.
Battlefield 6, can be on console providing you can record the footage.
We will be doing recording checks on all potential Patreon participants before we finalize our selection. Also note that BF6 can be got for cheap using EA Play Pro, $20 for a month should you not own it but wish to participate this is a decent and cheaper option! And you don't need Battlefield knowledge to accomplish these tasks, only basic movement and aiming abilities.
When:
Our first recording sessions will be the week of January 18th. There will be a second recording at a later date! Specific times will be sorted after the selection process is complete.
