Iris 🌈✨ New illustration Preview + Process

Hello Patrons,

I painted the rainbow girl this weekend after asking you what combo you'd prefer for August, here's the sketch on paper :

First painting session : I couldn't wait to paint the rainbow even though I knew it would be tricky, especially because if the circles and thickness of each stripe !

After painting the clouds in the background, I painted the character. She has only one shade of blue that I darkened with black and lightened with beige And here's the final painting :

Details :

I finished this painting in one day because it didn't have too many details (compared to a lady in armor for example). The painting is quite small too, I was used to paint bigger this past year because of gallery shows, but going back to smaller paintings allows me to spend less time on it, which is nice 😊

I called her Iris in reference to the goddess from Greek mythology, but I don't know if I'll keep this name for her. Let me know in the comments if this painting inspires you another title 🌈✨

Thanks for letting me know which combo you like best for August, I counted and option 2 (with the swan lady) wins but I am still going to make a poll just to be sure. The playing card is going to be a lot of work for me so it might not be ready in time for August rewards. But I will definitely use it for September if you still like it 🥰
