Home is where the 💛 is [new painting preview + process]

Hello Patrons,

Here's a new painting for you !
I shared the iPad sketch with you a few days ago and some of you liked it so I thought I'd paint it on paper !

A picture = a painting session (about 1 hour, 1 hour and a half) :

Here I painted the flowers with yellow on a green background- but since the yllow paint isn't opaque enough, I had to paint the shape white first, and then yellow :

And the result !

Finished painting (had to fix her face in Procreate because I really didn't like it, still not a fan but slightly better) :

I don't love this painting, It's very different from what I usually do, maybe that's why👀 but I really enjoyed painting it !
I also struggle painting faces lately, I find myself editing in Procreate a lot more this year, which makes me wonder why I can't do something that was easier before ?
That's the mysteries of life I guess !

I hope you like it - now I am going to focus on spooky paintings. I figured you'd like something Halloweeny for October rewards, so I'll start with witches (I'll share some sketches soon !).
I don't think I shared this painting I did for the Coven show last year on Patreon. So here's a first painting to start the spooky season !
