Mini paintings 🍄✨ for Nucleus Portland [Process + Preview]

Hello Patrons,

I was invited by Nucleus Portland to paint postcard size paintings for their annual PS Show in November - there is no particular theme, artists can draw/paint whatever they want, as long as it's size 5"x7".

So I drew these little fairies in my sketchbook and picked 2 ideas :

I then quickly redrew them digitally on Procreate, printed it out and traced it on watercolor paper :

First painting session - I decided to paint them at the same time because I chose a similar color palette for both, and didn't want to mix the same colors twice :

There were too many little details for such a small size but it was interesting working on a different format ! They both will be available for $110 at Nucleus Portland on November 8th, then online on November 9th !
