I feel like I've become a one trick pony lately; ModCon ModCon ModCon!
The 25th anniversary lecture is a few weeks out and I'm still scrambling to finish the talk, the companion book, travel plans... it's a lot.
It's also been a lot of fun looking back on twenty five years of memories, seeing faces I haven't thought about in too long, getting in touch with old friends.
Ryoichi Maeda was a guest at several of our ModCon events- he's a journalist, publisher, and trendsetter who's BURST magazine, along with his body mod specific publications, helped extreme body art take off in Japan.
He was also the publisher of the Japanese edition of the ModCon book.
