The Graves family lives on Deadgrass Isle, where Thomas mans the lighthouse and keeps ships safe through rough seas. Life is isolated and unpredictable, and storms often keep Isla and Rowan from school. Thomas is considering homeschooling to keep them safe, but both children are desperate for normal lives. The distance between them is growing as the ocean continues to decide their routine.

The Hawthornes are one of Brindleton Bay’s oldest and most well-known families, living in a sprawling estate passed down for generations. Edward maintains the family name while Lillian is deeply embedded in high society. Their daughter Charlotte feels the pressure to uphold expectations, while Edward Jr is still blissfully unaware. Behind the polished image, tradition and control quietly shape their lives.

Carmen Moreno has spent her life on the water, working as a fisher and building a routine shaped by early mornings and long days at sea. She’s tough, practical, and deeply connected to Brindleton Bay. Her son Diego helps where he can but dreams of something beyond the docks, leaving them both quietly wondering how long their lives will continue on the same path.

The Nortons own the Brindleton Bay country club, placing them at the centre of the town’s social scene. Asher manages the business while Mika thrives on connections and appearances. Their daughter Sophie has grown up around wealth and expectation but isn’t sure she wants the life planned for her. Behind the polished image, pressure and control shape more than just their reputation.
Pennington HouseholdCleo | Luca | Zara | Matteo
The Pennington family runs a well-loved waterfront restaurant that has become a staple in Brindleton Bay. Luca and Cleo built it from the ground up, but their children Matteo and Zara are already competing to take over. Matteo wants to expand and modernise, while Zara wants to preserve tradition, and their constant clashes are starting to turn family dinners into battlegrounds.
