Welcome to Celebrity Status, the newest Gameplay Mod to add an extra element to the Fame and Celebrity System.
With this mod, you will unlock a brand new phone app, a talent agency, new traits that align with each of the fame levels along with buffs, social interactions and more.
The Celebrity Status System introduces a fun new celebrity progression system which is managed by Ward Entertainment Group, allowing Sims to be assessed, upgraded and reassigned their celebrity status as their fame evolves.
Rather than just having the base game fame levels, this introduces a new trait that is assigned to each Sim, helping them reach their next celebrity level and giving them more personality while doing it.
📱How it Works
Sims can access the new Celebrity Services app via their phone. It will show any celebrity levels at or below their current status (for example, a Sim who has reached B-Lister fame will see the option to Claim B-Lister Status).

Once selected, the Sim has applied for their official recognition of their celebrity status through Ward Entertainment Group. A notification will be sent confirming whether their application has been approved.
✨ Celebrity Status
If approved, the new celebrity status will be added to the Sim's Simology panel as a reward trait, and any previous status trait will be automatically removed to ensure only one active celebrity status is held at a time.
Each celebrity status provides gameplay benefits tailored to that level, including bonuses to entertainment and fame based skills, assistance with needs, increases to the speed of gaining fame and reputation, a brand new celebrity pie menu with unique social interactions, and buffs that assist Sims in progressing toward higher fame levels.

I hope you love this mod! Please feel free to play-test, make suggestions etc. I would eventually like to add onto this mod but for now, it's taken me probably 40+ hours to get here with a lot of trial and error so I thought I'd let you play and see what you think!
